Other Info: These pups are completely unsocialized - probably were just left to hand out with their momma until the owner got tired of having them there and dumped them. They were both very afraid when we got them. Shyanne is a bit darker and bigger than Sierra and seems to be the leader of the two girls. She is doing well learning how to walk on leash. She loves playing with other dogs but we are still working with her to trust humans and to look to us for guidance. She has not yet been exposed to cats. She is getting a lot of interaction and we are working with her several times a day - so we are confident that we will soon break through and have a happy and sweet pup! If you cuddle her in your lap, she is very docile and accepting of all the hugs, mugs, and petting she receives so will be a sweet girl. They do have certain chessie features but we are guessing they are hound/chessie mixes. Also check out North Central Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue Facebook page as we will post pics of both pups. UPDATE: 11-3-17 - Shyann is rocking the walk, though things still scare her she is walking very well on leash and settles into a nice pace. She is learning that people can be fun though not as much fun as her dog friends. She is crate trained and quiet in the crate is doing well with the potty command. When she forgets to be afraid and lets go of her fear she is a sweet ton of fun pup. I don't think she had any or little positive exposure to people before now and it is micro baby steps to earn her trust. There is not a mean bone in this girls body. If you have a gentle hand, time to teach her the people are ok too and the world isn't such a scary place she will be a great dedicated companion. UPDATE: 11-10 Peanut has made leaps and bounds this week she is having a ball at Day care is walking up to strangers and seeking out humans for snuggles Way to go Peanut !!! If your looking for a pup who is sweet, gentle and a ton of fun she is the gal for you !
