Other Info:	Hi, I'm Chester, I am about a year old and have just been neutered (Dave said I was gonna be tutored, a/h!?) and I have all my first series of shots. I was found by a Deputy Marshal in the southern part of New Mexico, while I was doing a "walkabout". He got me some grub, let me put on some weight and cleaned me up and liked me so much, he hauled my butt clear up to Tijeras to be fostered here at the "Wayward Dawg Ranch". I am catchin' on to the house training bit, got snugglin' with the kids DOWN to a fine science! And am kinda catching on to the fetchin' and steppin' part of ball gettin', although I need to work on the fetchin bit more, by studyin' Herc for pointers. Sammy is teachin' me to hunt squirrels, I gave up workin' with Rockey, the Basset hound, he figures if you bark at them long enough, they will fall out of the tree? And Wally and I are doing the "teen bit" all the time. I am quick to catch on and love to please but, also, I am still very hand shy, so, patience is gonna be needed. I love to go for walks and Nils is working with me on leash training and staying close when lose. All-in-all, I think I am a great guy! Nearly got these folks at the ranch "shaped up" and am now, looking for my next assignment!
