Update 11/07/2008 While out playing in the yard Logan came up lame after he was running and chasing a ball. Logan is going to undergo Surgury 11/11/2008 for a torn ACL (his knee) Logan will be able to be adopted as soon as he heals. Check back for updates on his recovery. Logan underwent surgury vet expects a full recovery. |

Update 6/2/08 Logan does very well on his obedience commands he will heel,sit,come,down. Logan has great hunting potential he will retrieve a duck and is not gun shy.

Logan is a dominant chessie. He will test his boundaries to see who he can push around and who he can't. He is going to require a chessie experienced home with no young children. |

Logan is going to be a good dog for someone experienced with the chessie breed. From what the shelter has told us, he's been bounced around between a few families during his life. He does not get along with other dogs. Structure and leadership will be important parts of a successful home for Logan. Please check back as we get to know Logan better. |
