Hunter has a old mild ACL injury. It doesn't appear to bother him unless he overdoes it, then he may demonstrate a slight limp for a day or so. Hunter stays active and has been walking a couple of miles a day regularly, and enjoys retrieving, as well as playing around the house and yard. |

Knows "shake"; Knows "Drop it"; crate trained; travels quietly. Hunter does not "heel" per se, but walks very well on lead and his behavior is indicative of having had obedience training in his past. He's currently working on perfecting the stay command. |

Hunter is an intelligent, affectionate, good-natured boy with manners, who wants to be around people, and easily obeys commands that he is familiar with. Hunter has quite the personality and interacts well with his foster family, including the 10 and 11 year old children in addition to the family's pet rabbit! Hunter is housetrained for the most part, other than an occasional accident if he is left alone, and able to roam the house rather than being restricted to a smaller area. Hunter does not like firecrackers. He will also chase a flashlight beam and bark at it. Hunter is a perfectly wonderful boy!! If you are looking for that special companion to share your home with, here he is!! Update: Hunter's foster home has a new puppy and Uncle Hunter is being very good about the new addition to the family.
