Adoption Options

Adoptions Options are dogs that owners and shelters want to place directly into new homes without using their local shelter as a placement service. There is no cost to list a dog on CBRR&R's Adoption Options page. However, the page is not intended for breeders to list and sell puppies and CBRR&R does require that all dogs are neutered and spayed prior to listing. CBRR&R also encourages these owners and shelters to make a small donation to the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue Fund in thanks!

CBRR&R hopes that the adoptive homes that are found via the Web page are well-educated about the special qualities and needs of a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and will provide long-term, loving and understanding homes."
