2010 CBRR&R Calendar

100%
of the proceeds go towards
helping Chessies in need.

CBRR&Rs largest, and most popular, fundraiser -- last year, receiving over 500 photos submissions!!

Photo submittal ended
AUGUST 15th

How the program works:

  • Submit a high resolution photo of your Chessie (limit 2 photos per dog)
  • CBRR&R will review the photo for correct printing resolution and will either post it live into the voting booth OR contact you requesting a better photo.
  • Once photos have been submitted into the voting booth, votes will be accepted on each photo.
  • The top 13 photos* will be featured/printed in CBRR&Rs 2010 calendar. Which will be available for purchase.

Please note the following:

  • There is no cost to upload/submit a photo.
  • To vote on a photo, it is $2/per vote and you can vote as many times as you like on as many photos as you like
  • There are MANY people who participate in this program. We highly encourage you to ask your friends, family members and other Chessie enthusiasts to vote on their favorite photos.
  • Votes are NOT updated realtime, they tallied and updated daily.

Photo Submission Guidelines

  • This is all about the dogs! Hence, no photos of humans allowed.
  • Please ensure photos minimize all background clutter so that the dog is the main focus.
  • Due to the overwhelming response, only 2 photos per dog will be accepted. So, please use careful consideration when submitting photos.
  • No photos of dogs defecating or urinating will be allowed.
  • No photos focusing on the dogs genitalia will be allowed.
  • The calendar committee reserves the right to reject any photo based on content.
  • Photos need to be high resolution (at least 300 dpi and able to print at least 7" tall). If the photo file size is less than 1MB (1024 kb) it is most probably not high enough resolution.
  • Photos that are horizontal are preferred. Vertical pictures don't print as well.
  • Photos can not be adjusted to 300 dpi from a lower resolution. That process takes the existing data and breaks it into smaller pieces. That makes the image's edges look jagged when printed.

For questions about resolution, review the information provided by the printing company. After reading this, if you think your photo is a good candidate for the voting booth, please submit it.

If you have any questions regarding the calendar, please feel free to contact us at: calendar@cbrrescue.org.
