Welcome
to the CBRR&R Calendar program!!
The CBRR&R Calendar Voting
Booth has
grown immensely over the past few years and has quickly become a
favorite fundraiser among Chessie enthusiasts. Last year, over
500 photos were submitted for the Calendar Voting Booth --
including international photos from Sweden, the UK and Germany.
Every year, Chessie enthusiasts
are encouraged to submit photos of their Chessie(s). There is no
cost to submit photos. Once the photos are verified for correct
printing resolution, they will go live in an online "voting
booth."
The voting booth is where much
of the 'action' happens. Here, people vote ($2 per vote) on
their favorite photo(s). You can vote on as many photos as you
like and as often as you like. The top 13 photos*
with the most votes will be featured/printed in the 2009 CBRR&R
Calendar. The voting booth will open for business in mid-June. Although Votes
are not updated 'real time,' they are updated daily.
After the voting ends (date to
be determined), the calendar created with the top 13 photos*
will be available for purchase.
This is a great fundraiser to
get friends and family members involved in.
100% of the
proceeds go to help Chessies in need.
So, why not
vote on your favorite photos today?
Photo submittal will end August
15th.

To submit a photo, there are a
few guidelines that must be followed:
1. This is all about the
dogs! Hence, no photos of humans allowed.
2. Please ensure photos minimize all background
clutter so that the dog is the main focus.
3. Due to the overwhelming
response, only 2 photos per dog will be accepted. So, please
use careful consideration when submitting photos.
4. No photos of dogs
defecating or urinating will be allowed.
5. Photos need to be high
resolution (at least 300 dpi and able to print at least 7"
tall). If the photo file size is less than 1MB (1024 kb) it is
most probably not high enough resolution.
6. Photos can not be adjusted to
300 dpi from a lower resolution. That process takes the existing
data and breaks it into smaller pieces. That makes the image's edges
look jagged when printed.
If you have questions about resolution,
take a look at the information provided by the
printing company. After reading this, if you think your photo
is a good candidate for the voting booth, please go ahead and submit it.
All photos will be
reviewed for proper resolution. If the resolution is
too low, you will receive an e-mail stating so. This will
allow you to submit another photo of your choice of higher
resolution.
If you have any questions
regarding the calendar, please feel free to contact us at:
